Première Alterations is a bespoke bridal and haute couture alteration and fitting service based in London, United Kingdom. Established in 2010, the studio provides expert bridal alteration services, focusing on the perfect fit, comfort, and style of wedding gowns. We specialize in wedding dress fittings, alterations, corsets, bridal veils, and accessories. Providing services to high-end designers, bridal shops and brides in London and beyond.
Wedding dresses are the most intricate in structure and detail. Having a dress remodelled to fit you perfectly makes wedding dress alterations a task for a highly skilled bridal fitter and seamstress.
Our Alterations Studio provides a bespoke bridal alteration and fitting service to brides in London since 2010. But our fitters have 25+ years of experience in the fashion industry. We also have a lot of brides and clients travelling to us from England, the whole of UK and abroad.
We focus on the perfect fit, comfort and style of your wedding gown. Whether your gown is plain, embellished, strapless corset, new or vintage, our highly skilled bridal fitter and seamstress is equipped to handle intricate structures and various fabrics, silk, lace, and tulle.

HOW WE WORK
OUR PREMIÈRE ALTERATIONS PROCESS IS MADE VERY QUICK AND EASY ON THE CUSTOMER
Human bodies are the most complicated in nature, they change shape every day and we had to find our way around it to make life easier. Our system is perfected over 25 years of experience working with brides and female bodies. And it works like a clock.
We meet you once for a fitting and you collect the finished dress a few days later. For this reason we usually recommend to book a date closer to the wedding day. The recommendation usually is 3-4 weeks in advance. You pay at the end just before you collect.
A lot of planning goes into a wedding day, and so into getting the perfect wedding dress. Once you find your dream wedding dress you have to book your wedding dress alterations - these two always go together.
With us you need to contact us and book a fitting appointment 4-6 months in advance to secure a slot in our busy schedule. But we are only going to meet you in person 3-4 weeks before the wedding to make sure the dress is going to fit your current body shape.
On the day of the fitting we expect you to bring

advice will be given if you need to bring anything else depending on the dress
It is important to know that we are not able to do a proper thorough fitting without all these elements present on the day.
Most likely is that there will be no need of wearing a bra with the dress, we do our best to build in the bra cups into the dress where possible, which is always the best option. And we provide all the materials needed.
WE ARE ON YOUR TEAM
We are well known for our ability to find a solution for every problem. There is a lot we can do to a dress to change the shape so do not worry if your dress was delivered in a size too small or big. Or the corset of your dress is not right at all.
There is only one exception sometimes depending on the design - if the dress is 3-4 sizes too big we might advice you to look for a different dress. Not because we can not do all the adjustments needed, but because the alterations in this case will change the design of the dress and you might not like it at the end. We will not take a gamble unless you want us to.
